Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

When you use Automate, we may collect the following information:

  • Account information — your name, email address, and profile picture when you sign in with Google.
  • Scan data — the website URLs you submit for analysis and the resulting automation recommendations.
  • Payment information — processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
  • Usage data — pages visited, features used, and scan counts to improve our service.

2. How we use your information

  • To provide and improve our automation scanning and recommendation services.
  • To manage your account, saved scans, and subscription.
  • To process payments through Stripe.
  • To send service-related emails (scan results, account updates).
  • To enforce scan limits and manage your subscription plan.

3. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

  • Stripe — for payment processing.
  • Google — for authentication (OAuth).
  • AI providers — website content is sent to AI models to generate automation recommendations. No personal data is included in these requests.
  • Hosting providers — Vercel (hosting) and Supabase (database).

4. Data retention

We retain your account data and saved scans for as long as your account is active. Scan results are stored so you can access them from your Saved Scans page. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party tracking cookies for advertising purposes.

6. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction or deletion of your data.
  • Export your saved scan data.
  • Withdraw consent and delete your account.

7. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication (OAuth 2.0), and trusted third-party services for payment and data storage.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
